Cortland Man Admits to Sexually Exploiting Child Under 5

A Cortland County man will serve 45 years in federal prison for working with a woman to sexually exploit a child under the age of five.

Federal prosecutors say 36-year-old Christopher Perry of Cortland pleaded guilty to three counts, admitting he and Sarah Gates performed sex acts on the child and took photos on two cell phones.

In addition to the prison time, Perry has been sentenced to a 15-year term of supervised release and will have to register as a sex offender.
