Cortland Man Accused of Threatening Trailer Park Resident
A Cortland man is accused of violating an order of protection, allegedly making threats of physical harm against a person at the Penguin Trailer Park in Cortlandville.
Sheriff’s officials say when they went to 53 year old Harlan Ward’s home at around 2 p.m. March 5, they found a loaded shotgun in the apartment.
Ward is charged with criminal contempt, aggravated harassment and criminal possession of a weapon. But Deputies say the gun apparently was not used in making the threats.
Ward was sent to the Cortland County Jail.
