Cortland Couple Faces Drug & Weapon Charges
A Cortland couple is facing felony counts following a drug raid at a home in the City of Cortland.
Sheriff’s officials say 39-year-old Jody Minor and 41-year-old Nichole Osborne were arrested Friday, June 11 as part of an on-going investigation with the Cortland County Drug Task Force and the Cortland County Sheriff's Office.
4 grams of cocaine, 148 baggies heroin, 30 buprenorphine pills (which is an opioid used to treat acute or chronic pain), about 6 ounces of the street drug, "Molly" and suspected drug sale proceeds were confiscated.
Minor is charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony conspiracy and felony criminal possession of a weapon as well as misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia.
Osborne is facing the same charges except the weapon count is a misdemeanor.
