Cortland County Man Arrested for Narcotics

A Cortland man is facing a felony charge after Sheriff’s officials and the Homer Police Department raided a home on Jewett Avenue in the City of Cortland.

Authorities say 27-year-old Robert Sanders is charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor criminal possession of marijuana following the raid November 16.

Authorities say they were conducting an on-going drug investigation and found nearly 17 grams of concentrated cannabis and around 2 ounces of marijuana in the home.

Sanders was released to Alternatives to Incarceration and ordered to appear in City of Cortland Court next month.
