Construction to Cause Delays on I81 N Ramp From 17 E in Binghamton

The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists there could be delays for several days on State Route 17 eastbound leading to Interstate 81 North in the City of Binghamton.

The D.O.T. says there will be the left lane will be closed on the Exit 72-A Ramp from State Route 17 for pavement maintenance from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, October 4.  It will close again at 9 a.m. Tuesday, October 5 and remain closed through 5 p.m. Thursday, October 7.

Transportation officials say motorists should be ready for the possibility of what they term “moderate delays” at peak commuting times during the lane closures.
