Child Endangerment Charges in Norwich Blues Fest Arrest

Chenango County Sheriff's officials say an incident at the Chenango County Blues Fest in Norwich has prompted the filing of two counts of endangering the welfare of a child against a New Berlin woman.

Officials claim 32 year old Christine Taranto was allegedly acting in a manner that deputies say could have harmed the welfare of her seven year old child and another seven year old child whom she had custody of at the time.

Taranto was arrested August 17, arraigned in Town of Norwich Court and released to await her next court date.
