Chenango Forks Named a Blue Ribbon School
Congratulations are going to the Chenango Forks High School for its academic achievements.
CF is named by U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos as a National Blue Ribbon School for landing in their state’s highest graduation rates and highest achieving students in English and mathematics.
The national recognition was established in 1982 to celebrate excellence in education. 349 schools this year received the honor based on overall academic performance or progress in closing achievement gaps among student subgroups.
Up to 420 schools can be nominated each year from all the states, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, the Department of Defense Education Activity and the Bureau of Indian Education. Private schools can be nominated through the Council for American Private Education.
