Final preparations are underway for the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Job and Career Fair.

Over 40 companies are registered and more than 50 are expected to be at the event Friday, June 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the SUNY Broome Community College Ice Center on Upper Front Street in the Town of  Dickinson.

The job fair is free.

Prospective employees should bring several copies of their resume. Resumes will be scanned by the New York State Department of Labor to create an on-line database that companies can access after the event.

Representatives from Workforce New York and the Labor Department will be available to answer questions from job seekers.
