Last week Virgin Galactic founder Richard Branson was thrust in to space for a brief encounter of weightlessness and one of the first passengers into space as the company prepares for future passenger flights next year.

Tomorrow Amazon CEO Jeff Bezo’s will go where Branson went last week, via a new Shepard rocket, he’ll be joined by his brother, an 18 year old auction winner, and an 82 year old female.

Bezos and company will travel almost 70 miles above the earth for a spectacular view of mother Earth, the first for Blue Origin, another company looking to cash in on the passenger space flight business.

While most of us will never be able to afford the ticket price (approx. $250,000 per seat)

I have always wanted to go to space but sadly will never get there, but we can live vicariously through videos and pictures of others who will make the trip.
