
Car Strikes Binghamton Building After Colliding with SUV
Binghamton police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that resulted in damage to an East Side building.
The collision at Robinson and Griswold streets happened around 4:30 a.m. Friday. The crash involved a Chevrolet sedan and a Chevrolet Trailblazer sport utility vehicle.
The rear portion of the sedan struck a commercial building at 119 Robinson Street, just east of Cortese restaurant.
Debris from the wrecked vehicles was strewn across the roadway and on the sidewalk in front of the building.
The occupants of the one of the vehicles involved in the crash reportedly fled the scene.
An ambulance was called for a man with a head injury who was found about a block away.
Police were unable to release information about the cause of the crash or whether tickets would be issued.
