Jim Baker of the Southern Tier Antique Tractor Club said volunteers are needed to assist in the harvest of the potatoes in Campville this weekend.

Baker said people who would like to pitch in should stop by the Tioga County field this Saturday morning.

Use of the field for this year's potato crop was donated by Jackson Farms. The field is located off Route 17C in Campville. The entrance to the field is just west of Hanafin Marine.

Baker said all are welcome to help with the potato harvest starting around eight a-m Saturday.

The potatoes will be donated to the Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse and the Food Bank of the Southern Tier.
