The Stony Brook Seawolves defeated the Binghamton Bearcats in women's basketball today by a final score of 67-54. The game was played at the Seawolves renovated Island Federal Credit Union Arena.  The win puts the Seawolves America East record at 4-3 while BU falls to 2-5.

Stony Brook led by a 29-26 count at the half  but outscored the Bearcats 38-28 in the second 20 minutes to earn a 13 point decision.  It was the third consecutive road game for the Bearcats.

Imani Watkins and Kim Albrecht each scored 11 points for Binghamton.  Next up is a Wednesday home game against UMBC at the Events Center for the Bearcats.  Tip-off is scheduled for 7 PM.  Air is set for 6:45 with Tim Heiman calling the action on ESPN 1360 AM WYOS.
