Broome Sheriff’s Office Looks for Jeep Following Multi-Town Pursuit
Broome County Sheriff’s officials are looking for a white Jeep Cherokee that led officers on a pursuit through the City of Binghamton, Town of Kirkwood and Town of Windsor shortly before 2 a.m. October 19.
Deputies tried to pull the Jeep over for failing to stop at a red light at South Washington Street and Vestal Avenue at around 2:50 a.m. and the driver took off with law enforcement giving chase.
Sheriff’s officials say the Deputies terminated the pursuit on East Windsor Road when they lost sight of the vehicle.
The Jeep had a low-hanging dual exhaust and a New York license plate HSS-4188.

Authorities had no information concerning a description of the occupants of the vehicle.
The news release from the Sheriff's office did not announce how fast the vehicles were traveling during the course of the pursuit.
