The inoculations are available at the following locations and times:

10/8 from 10:00 – 11:30 am First Ward Senior Center, 226 Clinton St., Binghamton
10/11 from 9:30 – 11:00 am Eastern Broome Senior Center, 27 Golden Ln., Harpursville
10/15 from 10:30 – 11:30 am Vestal Senior Center, 201 Main St., Vestal

The Health Department says people age 65 and older and those with chronic health conditions are more at-risk for developing complications from the flu, which can include sinus or ear infections, pneumonia, sepsis, hospitalization or even death.

Health professionals stress the flu shot is safe, effective and cannot give you the flu.
