Broome Names New Director of Public Health

Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file]`[/caption]Broome County will have a new Director of Public Health in a few days.

Broome County Executive Debra Preston says Sean Britton, who has been Deputy Director of Public Health since last July, is taking over the job held by Claudia Edwards, who is retiring.

Edwards has been serving Broome County for 25 years.

Britton’s first day as Director is Saturday, April 30.
