Broome Library Offers a Deal for Tardy Borrowers
Broome County Library patrons can make amends for being behind in returning materials as the library is offering to reduce fines in exchange for a donation of non-perishable food for CHOW.

The deal is being offered through this month where a dollar will be deducted for each non-perishable food item that aren’t expired.
Officials with the library on Court Street in Binghamton say, even if you don’t have library fines, you’re invited to donate food at the library. All food items collected will be donated to the Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse to help thousands of local families that face food insecurity.
