Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]The first suspect to be named a drug dealing “Kingpin” with a potential maximum sentence of life in prison, is headed to jail for ten years.

Terrence, “Money” Wise finally accepted a plea deal after some rejected offers and was sentenced in Broome County Court.

Wise was rounded up with six others and accused of operating the big drug trafficking ring.

He had been charged with 84 felony counts but pleaded guilty to criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal sale of a controlled substance in or around a school zone.

Prosecutors say the 10 year sentence is the biggest most can remember for a drug-dealing case.

The Broome County District Attorney’s office has said the arrests, pleas and sentences send a message to would-be drug dealers that their actions will not be tolerated.
