Arrest Blotter Released By The Broome County Sheriff's Office

On December 31st, 2024, the Broome County Sheriff's Office released its weekly arrest blotter. The following are recent arrests and charges by the Broome County Sheriff’s Office as outlined on their website.

Benjamin Engbrecht, from the Town of Chenango, New York was charged with Assault in the 2nd Degree, a Class D Felony, Assault in the 3rd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, Menacing in the 2nd Degree with a Weapon, a Class A Misdemeanor, Reckless Endangerment in the 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, Resisting Arrest, a Class A Misdemeanor and Obstruction of Governmental Administration in the 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor following an investigation into a domestic incident in the Town of Chenango.

Kenneth Freeman, from Whitney Point, New York, was charged with Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, following an investigation into an order of protection violation in the Town of Dickinson.
