The Broome County Health Department says it has learned of people at more businesses who have tested positive for the coronavirus that may have infected others at those locations recently.

A person at Dos Rios Cantina on Court Street October 4 between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. tested positive.  Another case is Bath & Body Works on the Vestal Parkway East October 4 between 9:30 a.m. and 3:45 p.m., SONIC Restaurant on Upper Front Street Binghamton October 4 between 5 and 9:30 p.m.* and American Family Fitness on the Vestal Parkway October 5 through the 10th at various times. If you were at that location any of those days between 6 and 8 a.m. and/or noon and 2 p.m., October 9 between 1 and 2:30 p.m. or October 10 between 7 and 8:30 a.m, you should self-quarantine for 14 days from exposure.

A person riding BC Transit Bus #35 October 8 between 12:20 and 1:30 p.m. or 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. also tested positive and other riders on the bus should self-quarantine until October 23.

* We asked a spokesperson for the County Executive's office about the SONIC exposure notification.  They said "Exposure time is within 6 feet for 10 or more minutes, so, typically, if you are going through a drive thru, you are not face-to-face with someone for 20 or more minutes."  We're still trying to clarify how the advisory relates to SONIC that has no eat-in facilities.
