Broome County Men Face Drug Charges Following Suspicious Car Complaint

Two Broome County men are facing drug charges following an investigation into a suspicious vehicle parked in Windsor.

New York State Police say they were called December 26th to check out the vehicle parked on Fairview Drive.

40 year old James Kennerup of Kirkwood and 42 year old Terry McNerney of Windsor were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a hypodermic needle.

Troopers say they found McNerny had an outstanding warrant from the City of Elmira while Kennerup was wanted on an oustanding warrant from the Broome County Sheriff's Office.

McNerny was turned over to Elmira police while Kennerup was handed over to the Broome County Sheriff's Office.
