Another busy week for the Broome County Sheriff's Department. This report was released on May 6, 2026. Activities and arrests are listed below. Persons accused of any crime are considered innocent until proven guilty.

Criminal Possession
We'll start the report with several Criminal Possession charges, lncluding Sayquan McKenzie, 34 years of age, from Camden, New Jersey, charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 4th Degree, Unlawful Fleeing a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd Degree, Obstructing Governmental Administration in the 2nd Degree, False Personation, Reckless Endangerment in the 2nd Degree, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 2nd Degree, and Reckless Driving, along with multiple other traffic violations, following a pursuit in the City of Binghamton.
46-year-old Jack Whitehead from the Town of Dickinson was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th Degree, Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, following a narcotics investigation in the Town of Dickinson.
Romario Robinson of Binghamton was charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 3rd Degree and Auto Stripping in the 1st Degree, following an investigation into auto stripping in the City of Binghamton.
Following an investigation into a motor vehicle accident in the Town of Windsor, Desirae Brown from Kirkwood was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree and Fugitive from Justice due to an active out-of-state warrant.
40-year-old Isacc Ravenell was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, following a warrant execution in the Town of Union.
Upon completion of an investigation into auto stripping in the City of Binghamton. Shelby Medovich of Binghamton was charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 3rd Degree and Auto Stripping in the 1st Degree.
Danny Butts, Jr., of Deposit, was charged with three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, following a traffic stop in the City of Binghamton.
Following a warrant execution in Binghamton, Gary Trickey, 59 years of age, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree.
Promoting Prison Contraband
29-year-old Jean Benitez-Melendez from Syracuse was charged with two counts of Promoting Prison Contraband in the 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, two counts of Promoting Prison Contraband in the 2nd Degree, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, and Obstruction of Governmental Administration in the 2nd Degree, following an investigation into contraband in the Broome County Correctional Facility.
Anthony Perez of Binghamton was charged with Promoting Prison Contraband in the 1st Degree, following an investigation into contraband at the Broome County Correctional Facility.
Criminal Contempt
Charged with Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree following an investigation into an order-of-protection violation in the City of Binghamton - 26-year-old Mirso Fafulovic, Jr., of Binghamton.
Assault
Anthony Terenzi from Endicott was charged with Assault in the 3rd Degree, Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, following an assault investigation in the Town of Union.
Harassment
Following an investigation into a domestic incident in the Town of Fenton, Brian Miller, of Chenango Forks, was charged with Harassment in the 2nd Degree.
Robbery
In this week's Broome County Sheriff's report, 19 -year-old Justin White from Binghamton was charged with Robbery in the 2nd Degree, Assault in the 2nd Degree, and Child Endangerment, following a robbery investigation in the Town of Union.
Criminal Impersonation
David Decker, Jr., age 32 of Johnson City, was charged with Criminal Impersonation in the 2nd Degree, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 2nd Degree, and multiple traffic violations, following a traffic stop in the City of Binghamton.
Grand Larceny
18-year-old Kyle Whitmarsh, Jr., of the Town of Dickinson, was charged with Grand Larceny in the 3rd Degree, Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree, and Obstructing Governmental Administration in the 2nd Degree, following a stolen-vehicle investigation in the Town of Fenton.
Multiple Traffic Violations
Following a traffic stop in the Village of Endicott, Douglas Rogers of Endicott was charged with Driving While Intoxicated (1st Offense) and Driving While Impaired by Drugs (1st Offense), along with multiple traffic violations.
Petit Larceny
Joey Whitney, age 53, was charged with Petit Larceny, following a larceny investigation in the Town of Union.
As a result of a larceny investigation in the Town of Dickinson, Ashley Shoop from the Town of Dickinson was charged with Petit Larceny.
