Brooklyn Man to be Sentenced for Binghamton Attempted Murder
Sentencing is scheduled for March 7 for a Brooklyn man who pleaded guilty to attempted murder in the shooting of a Binghamton man who was sitting in a car outside a downtown delicatessen last year.
23-year-old Travon Sanders pleaded guilty in December to felony counts of attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon for shooting Grady Hunter in front of the Yellow Deli on Susquehanna Street April 1st.
Grady was left critically injured after being shot several times.
Prosecutors said Sanders had specifically targeted Hunter, shooting his with an illegally possessed 9mm semi-automatic handgun outside the business on Easter Sunday.
