Bronx Man Found With Pounds of Pot on I88 in Delaware County

A downstate resident is charged with felony possession of marijuana after he was stopped by New York State Police in Delaware County.

Troopers watching traffic on Interstate 88 at 9:06 p.m. September 2 in Sidney saw a westbound vehicle make several traffic violations. 

The vehicle was stopped when it exited onto Route 8, continuing to make vehicle and traffic infractions.   

Troopers say they found 48-year-old Chrisanthon Santana of the Bronx had over 28 pounds of pot in the vehicle. 

Santana was released after arraignment and ordered to appear in Town of Sidney Court later this month.
