Bridge Replacement Closes Part of Colesville Road

Road work will be closing a portion of a busy road in Broome County for the rest of the summer and into the fall.

The Broome County Department of Public Works says Colesville Road from the intersection at Stratmill Road to the North Road intersection in the Town of Kirkwood is being closed until November 1. 

Officials say the bridge over Duell Creek is being replaced and that will limit travel in that area to local traffic only.

Detours are marked for thru traffic seeking alternate routes.
