Bradford Teen Accused in Car Thefts

A 16 year old boy is admitting he stole several cars.

Pennsylvania State Police say a silver Pontiac Grand Prix was taken from Downtown Auto Sales in Wyalusing at around 1 a.m. Thursday, March 10.

Officials say the Sugar Run boy apparently drove the car to an area near the Wyalusing scenic overlook when it shut off.

The teen then reportedly walked back to the dealership and stole a silver Honda Civic and drove it to an area near railroad tracks before allegedly stealing a third car belonging to a Wyalusing woman near Grovedale Winery across from the Wyalusing Junior/Senior High School.

The boy, who is not being identified, is charged with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and theft from a motor vehicle.
