Kathy Whyte/WNBF News [file][/caption]A Monroeton, Pennsylvania man is accused of building a booby trap designed to fire a gun at a car if either the passenger or driver-side doors were opened.

Pennsylvania State Police arrested 27 year old James Taylor Sunday, March 27 after a device was found in Taylor's trailer consisting of a long gun and metal wire.

Troopers say the intended victims were an 82 year old Monroeton man and his 54 year son.

Troopers say, in addition to building the booby trap, Taylor was in unlawful possession of the firearm.

Taylor is charged with attempted aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person.  He was sent to the Bradford County Jail on $20,000 bail.
