Police have filed several felony charges after a stolen credit card was used to make purchases in Binghamton and Johnson City.

Authorities say 36-year-old Ardenia Ervin of Binghamton was arrested Thursday [April 7] following an investigation by detectives with the Broome County Sheriff's Office.

Ervin was charged with two counts each of criminal possession of stolen property and identity theft.

Investigators say Ervin was accused of using another person's credit card to buy items at various locations.

About $590 in unauthorized purchases allegedly were made on March 31 at a gas station and at a department store.

Ervin was issued appearance tickets for Binghamton city court and Johnson City village court.
