The Binghamton Senators hosted the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins December 26 at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena. It was their only home game of the weekend as the Arena ice will be covered for a basketball court for the Mirabito Stop DWI Holiday Basketball Classic starting December 27.

December 19 the Sens hosted the Pens and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton shutout the B-Sens 3-0.  Wikes-Barre/Scranton were in first place in the AHL's East Division with a record of 17-10-1-2 for 37 points.  Binghamton is in fourth place with 27 points and a record of 12-13-2-1.  Binghamton's Chris Wideman is seventh in scoring in the American League with 12 goals and 15 assists for 27 points.

Binghamton traveled to Hershey to meet the Bears December 27.  The B-Sens return home to host Lehigh Valley in a special 6:05 faceoff on New Year's Eve.
