Binghamton Senators Head to Rochester to Begin Busy Week
The Binghamton Senators begin a busy week with a road game tonight in Rochester when they face the Americans. The B-Sens will try to get back on the winning track after losing the last six games in a row. The B-Sens start the week one point in back of Norfolk and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in the East Division. The Amerks are in second place in the North D
ivision of the Western Conference.
After tonight's contest Binghamton will be home for a pair of weekend games. The B-Sens will host Norfolk Friday and Rochester on Saturday. Both are set for 7:05 draws. Friday's game looms especially large as the Admirals are up by a single point over Binghamton in the division standings.
Former Binghamton Senator Andre Petersson leads the Admirals in scoring with 42 points including 18 goals. Goaltender John Gibson is 18-13-4 with a 2.28 goals against average for Norfolk.
The B-Sens will wear special St. Patrick's Day themed jerseys for both Friday and Saturday night games. The souvenir jerseys will be auctioned off following Saturday night's game.
