Engineers and technicians working for Fox News Channel arrived at the Forum Thursday afternoon to prepare the venue for the recording of a program hosted by Sean Hannity.

Some of the Fox employees had made the same preparations for other Republican candidate programs in Saratoga Springs and Pittsburgh earlier in the week.

Binghamton city officials say those attending the Cruz campaign event are encouraged to carpool or to use BC Transit buses. Those who drive may park at NYSEG Stadium on Henry Street.

Parking will not be permitted near the Forum on Washington Street or on State Street.

Traffic delays are possible in the downtown area through mid-afternoon.

Sean Hannity's nationally-syndicated radio program is to originate Friday at the WNBF studios on Court Street.
