Binghamton Porch Pirate Sentenced
A Binghamton porch pirate will serve 3-and-a-half to seven years in New York State prison for stealing packages from the vestibule of an Oak Street apartment building.

Charles Alexander was convicted after a three-day trial in August of felony burglary in the February 17th theft of the delivery.
District Attorney Michael Korchak says he hopes the conviction and sentence will send a message that thefts even taking packages from doorsteps will not be tolerated.
