Detectives say they are trying to find a man suspected of robbing a restaurant on Binghamton's West Side.

Investigators are seeking 26-year-old Brian Chase of Binghamton. They believe he robbed Far East Chinese Restaurant at 287 Main Street on January 29.

A restaurant employee told police a masked gunman stole cash from the business in the Sunday afternoon heist.

Witnesses told detectives the robber got into a vehicle that had been parked near the restaurant and raced away from the area.

Two days after the robbery, city police arrested Chase's younger brother. Investigators believe 24-year-old Brad Chase assisted Brian Chase in the restaurant incident.

Brad Chase was taken into custody at his Broad Street residence. He was arraigned in Binghamton city court on a robbery charge and sent to Broome County Jail.

Police have seized the suspected getaway vehicle used in the robbery.
