Detectives are looking for the people who were involved in a Binghamton drive-by shooting incident in the area of Court Street and Broad Avenue.

Authorities say police were called to the East Side neighborhood around 8 p.m. Wednesday after several shots were heard.

Investigators say someone in a moving car fired a gun toward another vehicle that was traveling north on Broad Avenue.

Police say gunfire came from at least one of the vehicles. They believe one driver was chasing the other car.

The vehicles involved were described as a dark-colored Toyota Camry and a silver or gray Hyundai or Honda sedan. They were last seen northbound on Broad Avenue heading toward Robinson Street.

No injuries had been reported as a result of the shooting incident.

People with information may contact the Binghamton police detective division at 607.772.7080.
