
Binghamton Police Respond to Report of a Robbery at Citizen Bank on Main Street
Binghamton Police are again at the scene of a reported robbery at a bank on the West Side.
City police were called to Citizen Bank on Main Street near the Price Chopper Plaza at around 10:20 a.m.
Authorities are canvassing the area looking for a man who reportedly handed the teller a note and left the bank on foot.
Early reports indicated the suspect is white, standing about 6-feet, 2-inches tall and wearing a black leather coat and grey winter hat.
Anyone with information should call 911 or contact Binghamton Police at 772-7076.

That same bank was held up on February 23, also at around 10:20 in the morning. That suspect was believed to be about five feet, four inches tall. He wore dark sunglasses and a dark scarf to hide his face and was wearing all dark-colored clothing.
