Binghamton Police Investigating First Ward Arson
There's been another arson fire in Binghamton's First Ward.
The city fire marshal's office has determined a blaze that caused extensive damage to a vacant home at 10 Judson Avenue was not accidental.
Last Thursday morning's two-alarm fire was reported around 4:55. It was declared under control in less than 90 minutes.
The blaze damage the exterior of a neighboring home on Loraine Avenue. A garage also sustained damage. No injuries were reported.
Several arson fires have occurred in the First Ward and in nearby West Side neighborhoods in recent months.
A city police investigator said there were no immediate indications the latest fire was linked to the other suspicious blazes.
