Binghamton Police Investigate Truck Crash at Downtown Roundabout
The driver of a pickup truck lost control of the vehicle in downtown Binghamton resulting in a crash at the intersection of Court and Chenango streets.
The incident happened just after 11 a.m. Thursday. City police say the operator of the truck told officers the brakes on the westbound vehicle failed.
The Ram 1500 truck veered over a median between two signs and continued to the center of the roundabout, where it came to a stop.
There were no injuries reported. Police apparently did not issue any tickets as a result of the crash.
There was no visible damage to the decorative planters at the center of the roundabout.
