Binghamton Police Investigate Stabbing Near Downtown Post Office
A man was hurt in a reported stabbing incident in a downtown Binghamton apartment house.
Police were called to 104 Henry Street around 2:55 p.m. The building is located across the street from the main post office.
The injured man appeared to be speaking with medics and police officers as he was loaded into a fire department ambulance. He was transported to Binghamton General Hospital.
Detective Captain Cory Minor said the incident was under investigation. He had no information about any dispute that may have occurred before the stabbing.
The Henry Street building where the attack occurred is a half block west of NYSEG Stadium.
