Binghamton Police Investigate Child Hit by Vehicle

New York State Police are investigating a collision involving a vehicle and a child in the area of Frederick Street in the City of Binghamton.

Police were called to the Brandywine Highway at Frederick Street shortly before 7:30 a.m. October 30 with a report of an accident.  New York State Police joined Broome County Sheriff's officials at the scene and closed down the northbound lane.

It's believed the child suffered serious injuries in the collision.  No information about the child's age, condition or details about the accident have been made available.
