Binghamton Police Searching For Bank Robbery Suspect
City of Binghamton Police say they are searching for a suspect in an apparent robbery at the M&T Bank branch in broad daylight August 29.
Binghamton police detective say the robbery occurred at the M&T Bank at 49 Front Street just after 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Detectives explained in a press release Friday that a man entered the bank and gave a note to the teller demanding money and stating he had a gun. After getting the money, detectives say he left the bank.
According to investigators, the suspect is believed to be a white man about six feet tall. They say he wore a dark baseball cap, dark-colored sunglasses, a black long-sleeved shirt with a white logo on the left part of his chest, and gray Adidas pants with three white stripes.
