Binghamton Pair Accused of Dealing Drugs on Broome Street
A Binghamton couple is charged with numerous felony drug possession counts following a raid on their Broome Street home.
Approximately 26 grams of Methamphetamine, 24 grams of Fentanyl and around 14-thousand dollars in suspected drug sale proceeds were found with drug packaging materials by the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force in 27-year-old Shamel Hunter and 18-year-old Victoria Hughey’s home.
Hunter and Hughey are each charged with four felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of misdemeanor criminally using drug paraphernalia. Authorities say Hughey was released but Hunter was being held in the Broome County Jail after he was also found to be wanted on a Parole Violation warrant from the New York State Department of Community Corrections and Supervision.
