Binghamton Opens NYSEG Stadium Repair Bids
City of Binghamton officials say they are pleased with the bids that have been submitted for the first part of repairs to NYSEG Stadium.
Bids were opened December 28 by the Board of Contract and Supply for the project that is budgeted to cost $5.1 million.
The plans call for structural work and weather proofing of the Binghamton baseball stadium to be completed before the first pitch is thrown in the spring.
The winning bid is expected to be announced and construction started within a matter of days.
City officials have said many of the bids have come in below estimates.
