The Binghamton Mets battled rain and the Harrisburg Senators today and topped both.
The afternoon game was delayed at the start for one hour as showers and thunderstorms moved through the area.  Once the rain departed the B-Mets went to work on Harrisburg pitching to end up with a 5-2 decision.

Dustin Lawley smacked a three-run home run to pace Binghamton's offense.  Starting pitcher Rainy Lara worked into the seventh inning.  He struck out seven Senators to up his record to 3-1.  Jack Leathersich worked the ninth inning and recorded his first save of the season.

With today's win the B-Mets up their record to 17-15 .  They will wrap up the four- game series with a 1:05 game tomorrow.  Tyler Pill looks for his first win of the season as he gets the start for Binghamton.  The Senators will send A J Cole to the mound against the B-Mets.  Tim Heiman's pre-game coverage begins at 12:50 following the Barb Mack Show on News Radio 1290 WNBF.

Following a scheduled day off Monday Binghamton remains home for three straight against the Altoona Curve from Tuesday thru Thursday nights at 6:35.
