Following a lengthy day of travel yesterday the Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team is preparing for their next game in Providence against the Friars.  Providence is coming off of a 64-60 win over the Albany Great Danes in Providence. The Great Danes led 27-26 at the end of the first half.

Binghamton hopes for a better showing against the Friars than last time they met on February 22, 2001 when the Friars were ranked 25th in the nation.  They rolled to a 119-58 victory over Binghamton.  Providence is the defending Big East champion.  The Bearcats are 1-7 all-time against Big East teams.
