The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team comes off a disappointing road trip, beating the Hartwick Hawks 82-51.

Hartwick brings a 1-1 record into the game.  The Hawks defeated Farmingdale 82-65 and lost to Oswego 60-50.

The Bearcats were 2-2 overall coming off road losses to Notre Dame and Providence.

Former Maine-Endwell Spartan Jake Sinicki is seeing playing time as a freshman at a forward spot for the Hawks.  Sinicki was a standout basketball player for M-E and was a big part of their championship football teams as well.

Binghamton started all sophomores and freshmen in their game at Providence.  Freshmen seeing plenty of minutes included forward Dusan Perovic who led BU in scoring with 13 points.  Justin McFadden, Bobby Ahearn, Willie Rodriguez and Romello Walker all saw plenty of duty and impressed onlookers with their continual hustle.

The Bearcats next face road contests against Manhattan, Navy or Northeastern and Army.  Binghamton will play  three games in four days before getting a brief break for Thanksgiving.  BU returns home to host Cornell on Saturday, November 29 at 2 PM.
