Binghamton Man Charged With Murder & Attempted Murder in Conklin Shooting
A Binghamton man is charged with murder and attempted murder for allegedly shooting two women in Conklin early August 7.
Binghamton police say they apprehended a man in connection with the 12:20 a.m. Friday on Conklin Road and turned him over to New York State Police.
Troopers say 45-year-old Lance Johnson is charged with the felony counts after one woman was killed and another woman shot in the hand at an apartment complex in the Town of Conklin.
The wounded woman was transported to UHS Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The women's identities have not been released.
New York State Police are continuing their investigation.
