A 22-year-old man is suspected of selling someone else's cellphone at a Broome County kiosk that pays cash for electronic devices.

Authorities say Sayquan Chambers of Binghamton is accused of knowingly possessing the phone which had been reported stolen from a building at SUNY Broome Community College.

According to the Broome County Sheriff's Office, Chambers was charged with criminal possession of stolen property, a misdemeanor.

Investigators say Chambers was taken into custody today. He was ordered to appear in Johnson City village court on August 20.

Sheriff's office detectives were assisted by the SUNY Broome Public Safety Office in the investigation.
