TruthPharm is getting $20,000 from the Drug Policy Alliance to work on policy change in the Southern Tier and New York State.

The group is working to raise awareness, support marijuana legalization and expand work with local social and racial justice groups.

TruthPharm says it is looking to decrease discrimination in the healthcare setting toward people who use substances while increasing a public understanding of the impact of the overdose epidemic on communities of color in the Southern Tier.  The nonprofit is also part of statewide coalitions like End Overdose NY.
