Binghamton Family Dollar Shoppers Warned of Possible COVID Exposure

The Broome County Health Department is advising shoppers at the Family Dollar store on Chenango Street in Binghamton on August 8^th or the 9^th to self-quarantine until August 23 or 24th as a worker has tested positive for the coronavirus.

Officials say the employee was at the store on August 8 from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on August 9 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

Anyone who visited the store during the days and hours in question should contact their health care provider if they develop symptoms of COVID-19 like fever, difficulty breathing, aches, loss of taste and smell and nausea.
