The Binghamton Bearcats rolled to a 73-58 victory over the Maine Black Bears today at the Events Center in front of 2,485 fans.  The win avenges an 82-66 Maine win in Bangor back on January 5th to open the America East season for both teams.

Jordan Reed notched his second consecutive double-double with 20 points and 16 rebounds to lead all scorers.  Reed scored 23 points and added 15 rebounds in Tuesday's loss to Stony Brook.  Forward Roland Brown scored a career high 17 points and added nine rebounds for his best game of the season.  Brown set a personal high of 10 rebounds last season also against the Black Bears.  Also scoring in double figures for the Bearcats was freshman point guard Yosef Yacob with 15 including a 4-4 showing at the free throw line.

The Black Bears were paced by 15 points each from Till Gloger and Troy Reid-Knight and 12 points from the conference's leading scorer Xavier Pollard.  The win puts Binghamton's America East record at 2-9 while Maine falls to 3-9 in conference action.

The Bearcats travel to Durham to meet the New Hampshire Wildcats on Wednesday at 7 PM.  Airtime on News Radio 1290 WNBF is set for 6:45 PM.
