Bearcats Will Travel in Style

Opposing teams will know the Binghamton Bearcats are in town.  Shafer Bus, 500 North Street in Endicott, unveiled their new "Bearcat Bus" in front of the Events Center at Binghamton University.  The bus is wrapped with Binghamton Bearcat images and designs.

The new bus will be used by Binghamton Bearcat athletic teams as they travel on the road for games and competition.  The women's soccer team is expected to be the first team to use the new bus.  They travel to New Hampshire to meet the Wildcats September 27.

When not in use by Bearcat teams, the bus will be utilized for other Shafer trips and charter services.  There are other sports teams in both college and professional ranks that utilize a specially wrapped bus to transport them to games but this is a first for Binghamton University.  The wrapping fits with the branding design implemented by the athletic department this summer.  The design highlights BU's logo and many of the school's All-Americans and top athletes
